It's a Brain Thing
The reason I do Smart Woman Conversations is to bring useful advice and insight into being in business today. Part of that is maintaining your health. When I met Ann, back in Colorado, she impressed me as someone who is serious about what she does and wants to share it with the entire world.
I wonder how often you let your health go? How often do you push aside that headache or that body ache, because, after all, you're a new entrepreneur. There is so much to do, so much to learn, so much to absorb, the last thing you're thinking about is your health. You rationalize, it's okay to miss breakfast and eat a fast food lunch, because it's all part of the game, isn't it?
No, it's not. This is not a game. I always tell people, in the game of life, the person who gets to the end first, is not the winner.
Ann Brecke will tell you that while she's helping you stay healthy, and look marvelous doing it, she's also listening to your struggles and worries. Because it all plays into the brain health we should all be conscious of.
It's one of the things I LOVE most about Ann, that her focus on our brain health. The brain, as you may know, controls everything we do, think, and believe. If your brain is off kilter, so are you.
This conversation focuses on that, brain health, women's health, and how to bring happiness into your life - both inside and out. Ann considers herself a Happiness Ambassador - a coach who helps us look better, live better, and FEEL better. Which is something we all need more than ever today.
I love that she recommends personal development, as do I, but then includes taking the chance to change from within by adding supplements and enjoying super foods in your diet. It's about mental focus and clarity, which women of a certain age are all about.
We are NOT our parents!
As we age, we don't have to become our parents. God bless them, they, too, were not their parents. But today, people over 40, 50, 60 can still have full, energetic, beautiful lives straight into their more senior years. Because today, we have Ann to help teach us how to keep our brain healthy.
She doesn't dictate or insist or sell. She is a listener and a teacher. That's the best kind of coach out there. She calls herself a Brain Warrior and a Happiness Coach, and I can attest to the fact that she's always glowing, happy, and eager to help women achieve whatever their heart desires.
