smart women

If being smart enough was all it took, we'd all be rolling in dough!

If being smart enough was all it took, we'd all be rolling in dough!

Does this sound like you?

"I can't do this. I'm not...

  • Smart enough (don't have that degree)

  • Tall enough (no one will notice me, I'm so short)

  • Pretty enough (all the pretty girls get all the attention)

  • Savvy enough (whatever that means)

  • Thin enough (no one will work with a fat girl)

  • Confident enough (my stuff is okay, but so is hers, and hers, and hers)

  • Young enough (really? you're still saying that?)

And the list goes on and on.

No matter how much you want to say your pets are people, “My dog is my child.” Or, “Pets are family.” when push comes to shove, no one will consider them so. In the end, during or after a disaster, however major or minor, (mine is minor, foot surgery and back problems in the same week…well, this too shall pass and I will be all better soon), if you have not made a plan for your pets’ care, the universe will do it for you and I, personally, do not trust the Universe.

I will never forget the first time I saw Aimee. It was at a BlogPaws conference. This stunning young woman with black hair, a beautiful smile, and the best eye makeup I’d ever seen, was walking towards me and I couldn’t stop staring at her. “She’s stunning!” I thought.

But there’s more. Much more.

If you take nothing else from that blurb, take the words “profound” and “heart-centered” because that’s exactly what you find in this book.

It’s a book of stories. A book of emotions. A book of successes that were hard-won. It’s about women everywhere. I think, perhaps, it’s about me. And about you.

A Smart Conversation with Chloe DiVita

A Smart Conversation with Chloe DiVita

Women are so smart.

I have always believed in the smartness of women everywhere. In my previous life, back in the early 2000s, I wrote a blog called Lipsticking, for and about women entrepreneurs.

It came from a book I wrote - subtitled, Smart Marketing to Women Online. After a year of blog posting, the blog became Smart Marketing for Women Online. You see the difference?

So many smart women recognized their lack of education and training online, and I filled in the gap for them. It brought me much satisfaction and delight. The blog still exists. You can visit it, if you like.

Now, however, I am focused on today’s woman. I am focused on the smart, talented women of 2019 - and beyond.
